A scalable visual storytelling system created to make enterprise cloud technology feel clear, connected, and easier to understand.
Task
Microsoft enterprise products often communicate complex ideas across cloud infrastructure, data, AI, and product workflows. The goal of this project was to translate technical content into a cohesive visual language that could support presentations, animated explainers, campaign assets, and product storytelling.
Design approach
Simplify the abstract
Turn complex cloud, data, and AI concepts into clear visual metaphors that feel easier to understand.
Build a modular system
Create reusable shapes, grids, icons, and layout patterns that can scale across slides, storyboards, and motion frames.
Guide the viewer’s attention
Use hierarchy, contrast, pacing, and visual rhythm to help viewers follow technical narratives step by step.

Balance a fresh visual expression with Microsoft’s established product ecosystem, color language, and enterprise tone.
Visual identity system
Establishing a recognizable product mark and supporting visual language that connects Azure Applied AI to the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
